R-Factor is an exterior insulation finish system, also known as continuous insulation or CI. This cost effective system provides a energy efficient primary weather barrier. The R-Factor system offers ease of use, low maintenance, aesthetic appeal, and design flexibility. In addition, finishes come in a wide range of colors and textures and offer proven durability. The R-Factor system can be easily installed and applied directly to a number of substrates including: concrete or concrete masonry, water-resistant core gypsum sheathing, exterior grade plywood or Exposure 1 grade oriented strand board (OSB) over steel or wood framing.
